JMC Faculty / Staff

This group photo was published in the 1975 JMC 10th Anniversary tabloid over the caption: "JMC Faculty - Guess When!"

The precise "When" remains a mystery, though the combination of people shown (to judge from the scanty and indirect evidence of the JMC Staff matrix) would seem to date to the period 1966 - 1968.

If anyone can precisely date this photo, please Contact the Editor

Unfortunately, the tabloid did not identify the people in the photo. Neither have I yet been able to ascertain that this paper ever revealed the photo's precise vintage.

In June 2002 (during the upsurge of interactivity following the debut of the JMC recruiting poster accessible elsewhere in the Image Gallery), Stewart Lachman kindly forwarded me a photocopy of that tabloid page. While I was contemplating how to go about scanning it, Cleo Parker saved me the trouble by sending in a scan of the photo.

Thanks, Cleo!

Thanks, Stewart!

After some PhotoShop doctoring (to try and tease out more details), this photo is now available for your perusal on its own Webpage.

Take Note:

  • This is a relatively large file (JPEG, over 230 KB), so be patient in downloading.

  • Owing to its 'landscape' orientation, the group photo Webpage is formatted wider than the other pages in the JMC Webspace. You'll probably need to expand your browser window to accommodate it.

"Further down in the box I unearthed the picture of the faculty that was given to us at graduation (as best I remember). There is even a mimeographed sheet with it showing who's who. It has to be from spring 1969."
