REGISTRATION

YOU NEED TO REGISTER

...whether or not you plan on attending any of the 'paid events' (e.g., the Friday night banquet, the Saturday morning tent party).

If you are banking on simply showing up unannounced for a paid event, there will be a problem, because the College of Arts and Letters is not set up to accommodate people who appear and want to pay at the door.

In any event, the on-site planners need to have some basis for estimating resources (e.g., food and drinks) for both the paid and unpaid events.

HOW TO REGISTER

The MSU College of Arts and Letters (CAL) is the institutional contact point for registration.

CAL prefers that all JMC Reunion registration transactions be conducted by mail.

Official announcement / registration packets have been mailed out (and began arriving during the week ending 16 August).

To obtain a registration form, please get in touch with the designated CAL contact (Cathy Galloway). Her contact info is provided below.

ALUMNI / ATTENDEE DIRECTORY

(OPTIONAL)

We will be compiling a directory of JMC alumni / attendees in conjunction with the 2002 Reunion. This directory will be published and distributed to the Reunion attendees.

Listing in this Directory is optional.

An Alumni / Attendee Directory Form was included in the announcement / registration packets mailed out in mid-August 2002.

To submit data for inclusion in the Directory, you need to do one of two things:

  • Fill Out a Hardcopy Directory Form and mail it in to the College of Arts & Letters by November 20, 2002.

  • Fill Out the Directory Form Online by going to http://www.cal.msu.edu/alumni/alumni.asp, clicking on "Justin Morrill Reunion", and following the link(s) / instructions there.

NOTE:

  • This Directory is not the same thing as the JMC Veterans Directory here at the JMC Webspace.

  • Entries submitted for the 2002 Alumni / Attendee Directory will not be automatically accreted to the online Veterans Directory.

  • Conversely, entries submitted for the online Veterans Directory will not be automatically included in the 2002 Alumni / Attendee Directory.

  • If you want to be included in the 2002 Alumni / Attendee Directory, please contact the MSU College of Arts & Letters, not this Editor.

  • If you want to be included in the online Veterans Directory, please Cont@act the Editor.

ALUMNI QUESTIONNAIRE

(OPTIONAL)

There is little information of record on the outcomes from Justin Morrill College. Moreover, Michigan State University is considering the establishment of a new residential college. Given these two factors, there is a desire to collect information from JMC veterans about their JMC experiences, their attitudes toward the College and its programs, and their evaluation of JMC's value in their individual lives.

Participation in this information gathering effort is optional.

Information obtained through this Questionnaire will NOT be included in the Alumni / Attendee Directory (see above).

The Questionnaire is designed for anonymous submissions -- i.e., there will be no way to correlate the information you submit with you personally.

A Questionnaire Form was included in the announcement / registration packets mailed out in mid-August 2002.

To submit data for inclusion in the Directory, you need to do one of two things:

  • Fill Out a Hardcopy Questionnaire Form and mail it in to the College of Arts & Letters by November 20, 2002.

  • Fill Out the Questionnaire Form Online by going to http://www.cal.msu.edu/alumni/alumni.asp, clicking on "Justin Morrill Reunion", and following the link(s) / instructions there.
